Without fanfare a rookie band from Atlanta, The Black Crowes, released its first album Shake Your Moneymaker   in early February 1990. After tirelessly touring opening for several big-name groups as well as playing theaters on the big boys’ nights off, by the end of that year the album was Top Five on Billboard  sales in America, eventually selling over 5,000,000!
