George Harrison- All Things Must Pass 55th Anniversary 11-17

The first Beatle to achieve a #1-selling solo album was neither Lennon nor McCartney, but George Harrison sussed that notable feat fifty-five years ago the hard way: with the three-record set All Things Must Pass.

George Harrison, “The Quiet Beatle”, certainly got tongues wagging with the sheer copious amount of solo music as well as the quality of many individual songs on All Things Must Pass, including the international hit “My Sweet Lord”, “Isn’t It a Pity?”, “What Is Life”, and “Beware of Darkness”. The late George Harrison is my guest from the In the Studio archives for the fifty-fifth anniversary of All Things Must Pass the week of November 17. –Redbeard
