Just as AC/DC's "Back in Black" was the hard rock album loved by people who didn't like Hard Rock, "Moving Pictures" by Rush in February 1981 was the undeniable mass appeal purchase by millions who did not own any of the Toronto trio's seven (!) previous albums.
