Superstars back home in Australia, Midnight Oil followed up their 1988 multi-platinum international hit Diesel and Dust  with April 1993’s Earth and Sun and Moon , an equally strong effort. It was at a rare club show in New York City during the press roll out of the latter release that Midnight Oil performed this terrific version of  native aboriginal anthem “The Dead Heart“. –Redbeard
