Rush- Moving Pictures 45th Anniversary- Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson 2-16
Just as AC/DC's "Back in Black" was the hard rock album loved by people who didn't like Hard Rock, "Moving Pictures" by Rush in February 1981 was the undeniable mass appeal purchase by millions who did not own any of the Toronto trio's seven (!) previous albums. Rush bassist/singer Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson join me In the Studio to discuss frankly the evolution of their career up through "Moving Pictures" beginning Feb. 16.

Alex Lifeson- Victor 30th Anniversary
The January 1996 solo project release "Victor" by Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson was a highly personal rock Rorschach test for the gestalt guitarist, primal scream therapy with a beat. Alex Lifeson lies down on the couch here In the Studio on the album's thirtieth anniversary..

Rush- Power Windows 40th- Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson

Rush- Grace Under Pressure- Neil Peart
When revisiting the Rush April 1984 release "Grace Under Pressure", I had to double-check the math. The late Neil Peart of Rush discussed it all on opening night of the "Grace Under Pressure" 1984 tour.

Rush- 2112: Early Best 45th Anniversary- Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson
"2112" by Rush was an amalgam of hard rock, progressive rock, science-fiction and Ayn Rand socio-economics right about the same time that The Ramones, The Dead Boys, and Ian Dury and the Blockheads were singing "Sex and Drugs and Rock'n'Roll". So things were about to get interesting in 1976. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson of Rush join me here In the Studio
