To celebrate the upcoming album anniversary, here is a portion of the July 1987 Robert Cray performance at Dallas’ Redux Club after the release of the career-breaking Strong Persuader  album. This particular performance of Cray’s “Right Next Door (Because of Me) “ comes from the second show that night, mixed by Doug Hall and produced by Redbeard for later broadcast on Dallas/Ft.Worth radio station Q102 .
