By now you are sophisticated enough about the business of music to realize that most “live ” albums aren’t, actually. Everything from lead vocals to guitar solos to horn sections can be, and are, regularly replaced in the studio ( KISS Alive!  is infamous for replacing all of those, plus even the crowd). Which brings us to this live radio broadcast of the Rolling Stones on the Voodoo Lounge Tour while in the New Orleans Superdome October 10, 1994. This is LIVE “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” from the stage to the broadcast truck to the airwaves. No fixes, no tricks, no overdubs later, just proof that to get the rep of “The World’s Greatest Rock’n’Roll Band”, you gotta bring it every night. –Redbeard
