Melissa Etheridge, visiting Dallas radio station Q102 as a rookie in 1988, stepped up to the plate live, took a swing at “Chrome Plated Heart” from her debut released in May that year, and knocked it out of the park, performing on a guitar  which had just been given to her by an appreciative fan.  – Redbeard
